Major Changes With Miniatures

This is the second album « Major changes with miniatures » of my rock trio Jack is Dead, released in March 2010, inspired by the splendid chaos of the leaders ! It’s in Iran that this album takes its departure, inspired and aware of the last « Green Revolution », to travel through the Middle and Near East.
It builds itself into a deeper sound, giving up this time the distortion in benefit of a clean and crunchy sound, and ventures in a more pop, funky, blues and bluegrass genre, with horns and string quartet !

“Jack is dead !” That's what told me first Eduardo on the phone after his brother, my old friend died in a car crash.
Ok now it is not a funeral oration or any kind of a gloomy “for old times’ sake” epitaph. Actually he only was a bad driver. I hope at least he was listening Highway to hell. Big chances are he was.
This is Jack is Dead. Music for ironic lifes. Symphony for poor people. Somewhere between Van Halen and the Police, John Lennon and Robert Johnson. A sex symbol between Roger Moore and Jack Nicholson.
This first full-length album “Eagle of the road” was released in 2008. It immediately asserts and seduces the radios - RSR Couleur3, DRS3, Radio 3Fach and the American independent label 272 Records (compilation Riot on Sunset, vol.14).
